Your one stop material-related shop
Browns tends to be the best place in the area whenever you need something made of material... except clothes. Although they do sell underwear... So basically anything big made of material! They have a great range of bedspreads, sheets, curtains, etc in loads of different colours, but mostly it’s their expert knowledge and ability to make anything to order that makes them really stand out. A great family run traditional business that we are sadly lacking in nowadays.

This shop has been operating for 100-years so it must be doing something right. I used to get my school uniforms from there when I was a child and now all grown up I still use it. It has a great selection of curtains, net curtain and bedding. I will be moving house in a week and no doubt I'll be popping in here to stock up. The owner is a really nice lady too.
